Factors contributing to Substance Use Crisis on the Northside

The Substance Use Roundtable prioritized 3 key factors:

  • High Rates of Substance Use
  • High Rates of Stigma toward people who use drugs in the community, healthcare system, and criminal justice system
  • Lack of collaboration between key systems and people in the sectors of substance use and mental health

These priorities flowed into the development of the Substance Use Action Plan (Download the PDF here Substance Use Action Plan):

This plan identifies long-term intended impacts and pathways we are testing to achieve them.
